Circular Agronomics was recently featured in Horizon, the EU’s research and innovation magazine – read the article here.
The piece explores Horizon 2020 projects Circular Agronomics and Nutri2Cycle and their strategies to turn nutrient-rich farm waste such as chicken feathers, cow dung and plant stalks into green fertiliser. This will not only reduce the use of chemical fertiliser, decreasing the environmental impact of agriculture on soils and ground waters, but also cut down costs associated with chemical fertiliser.
