Several workshops with farmers have been conducted these past two years in the Case Study regions.
For Case Study 1, in Catalonia, two events were organised in 2019 and 2020.
2019 workshop
A joint workshop of the Circular Agronomics and Nutri2Cycle projects in Vilasana, Lleida, in 2019 where one of the experimental sites within the Case Study 1 was installed. In particular, the solar drying process at Porgaporcs’ Biogas plant. The workshop consisted of presentations on both projects and on other invited projects related to the scope of Circular Agronomics such as the project Life Arimeda and the project Life Agriclose. Presentations from the owners of the biogas plant and the engineering company that constructed the pilot, both participating in the project, were also carried out.
The workshop ended with a visit to the solar dryer and with a questionnaire for farmers carried out by our partner CREDA.

2020 workshop
A second workshop took place online on December 2020. This was again a joint workshop between Circular Agronomics and Nutri2Cycle. It consisted of presentations on the activities carried out by both projects. The workshop ended with a virtual visit to the IRTA’s Experimental Dairy Station (EVAM) in which the Precision Feeding system is being tested together with field trials where forage crops were sown.
